Removing the lift is easy. Put jack stands under the square tube that sits in the saddles (part #2 in the photo).
Then unbolt and remove the upper saddle clamps (number "1" in the photo, there are four bolts each side), unplug the hydraulic hose from the quick disconnect and unplug the electrical cord (if you have the optional led light kit).

Then you can pull coach forward out of of the saddles - or you can also use a floor jack under the carrier to lift it and then place jack stands under it. The lower saddle's bottom face is parallel to the ground.

The lower saddle bracket assembly stays mounted to the coach.

Paul, I went to the Spartan class in Oct 2016 in Charlott Mi. Just to clarify I did not have a lift on my Entegra. While my chassis was being serviced I asked the tech about the lift. He told me that if I did have one they would ask me to disconnect it and leave it in the parking lot. I was just curious if there were many shops that required the lift to be removed for chassis service. Thanks

Mark

I just had service at Spartan, Charlotte Michigan and my lift was not removed nor did they ask for it to be removed. I also left my Harley on the lift and all service was performed. I showed Dave, our mechanic, how to lower and raise the lift and left him the remote. This was a two year service with all fluids dropped, greased, and ride height checks. I also had chassis service and the coach weighed during our training class (2016) and the lift and MC was on the back. No problems.

So, I don’t know what your talking about or who the tech was that told you this. Our mechanic, Dave, has done all work on our coach, no problem with lift. Chris is one of the service writers that I’ve worked with along with Katie. I have mentioned my setup to them every time we were in for service and their response was no problem.....

Good Luck.....
