Motorized night shade will not go up or down

I have a 2018 Mountain Aire 40ft diesel.

Last night I accidentally jammed the aft night shade to the window valance. This morning when opening all the night shades, the aft one was still jammed into the valance and I had pressed the button to open all night shades in the bedroom. Now I can hear the motor working, but the aft shade will not go up or down. It is no longer jammed into the valance, but still a no-go. I have the motor off now. All other shades work fine.
I have read about a "learning mode switch"? I also see a knob near the motor with an up and down arrow.

The motor is not burned out (yet), so I would greatly appreciate any info that can help me fix the aft shade so it goes up or down again. Thanks.

I'm guessing you have MCD shades (I have them in my Dutch Star) If you don't get help here, try calling MCD and talk to one of their tech support people.

Mountain Aire may have Auto Motion shades. I don't know what can be done for a shade that the motor works but does not move.

On occasion, re-setting the switches by turning off the battery switch for 30 seconds, can help. Not always, but works sometimes.

I had the same issue with the same bedroom shade. I had the whole shade replaced.

Most likely your shades are AutoMotion shades. Check with them.
