Mountain Aire Height

Hello,

I just recently traded my 2001 Dutch Star for a 2005 Mountain Aire 4304. So recently as I don't have the new one home yet to measure. The brochure says the 4304 is 12' 4" tall. It does have a satellite dome on the roof.

My question(s)...

Does the 12' 4" brochure measurement include the A/C(s) and ladder?

Does the 12' 4" brochure measurement include the dome?

If the answer is NO to either / both of the above questions what do you think the actual height would be when aired-up?

Thank You!

The brochure includes all standard equipment at ride height, was the dome standard or an option?

I would only guess it was an option, but I don't know the answer to that question...sorry!

Stuart has it right. The listed dimension is the clearance height with all standard equipment installed. Theoretically, you could drive the coach under a 12'5" height overhead obstruction and have 1" clearance. That's a bit too close for me, but it illustrates the rationale for the listed height. And, I would guess there is just a little "fudge factor" in the listed height for liability reasons, but don't count on it.

Agreeed,
Also, typical satellite systems are designed such that they are the same height as the roof AC. My Winegard Traveler was exactly the same as the AC when in the Stowed Position.

Is there more then one category of the 2005 MA , like gas and diesel?
