Mountain Aire leveler leaking

2003 gas mountain aire. have a passenger front leveler cylinder leaking. found puddle on pad this weekend. cant find any info on manual I have from newmar about the cylinder and info on it. I bought it uses so I may be missing some manuals. 38 foot, gas with 8.1 cyl. engine. where can I get into on where resourvoir for fluid is, what fluid to put in and info on the cylinder. Going to crawl under it in next few days to check it and see if I can see where leak is. pretty hard to see the thing from what I have seen so far. Any help is appreciated. It is going up and down but I have had a couple of incidents where alarm went off going down road as if it might be leaking down enough to set off alarm.
Thanks for help.

You did not mention who manufactured it. If it is HWH, I found them very easy to work with.

That's part of my problem. My paperwork doesn't help me determine who made the jacks. Cant find info in manuals. Just need some info on manufacturer.

Hi revrick3,
On the control panel will be lettering telling you who the manufacturer was. Most likely it was HWH. Contacting Newmar can be helpful in determining where the reservoir is located and what jacks were installed right down to the part number. Have your VIN or coach number ready when calling Newmar. Let us hope it is just a loose connection. Jacks are expensive. Lastly if replacing fluid in the reservoir, make sure you use the correct fluid. Newmar or the jack maker can tell you what fluid to use.

Both of our Dutch Stars had HWH systems, but they don't always use HWH on the gas rigs. Call Newmar and find out for sure.

Welcome to the forum, you have a HWH jack system on the Workhorse chassis.
Above in the Quick Tips 1 & 2 link you will find links to the HWH web site and other info you need for your jack system.
You may just have a loose fitting at the top of the jack cylinder that needs to be tightened.
I was able to get behind the tire and squeeze in and access the fitting and maybe get a wrench on fitting to fix it.
If you can not you will still have to remove the hydrol hose and snap on wire connection to drop jack cylinder out of its frame holder.
You should also check the cylinder casing for any leakage on surface road salts will eat through casing of cylinder causing leak and jack will need to be replaced and I have instructions on how to do it in the QT's links.
The jack system hardware is under your hood right hand side the pump, reservoir and hosing.
Let us know how your making out and all your coach info is in the links below in my signature plus you have many on this forum to help you out.

Thanks so much guys, as always you are so helpful. We are still learning so much about our home and loving every moment we get to spend in it. I am going to start the search this week if weather holds out. Been 90 degrees here last few days and I cant stand that much heat anymore working. I will let all of you know what I find out.

Update on leaking lever jack. I found the tank and checked fluid and it wasn't low hardly at all. added a couple of ounces to tank. It doesn't take much fluid on ground to look like a lot. Got under the unit and I could not find any hose leaks. The top of unit was dry and cylinder itself seemed okay. Age rust but no problems. It appears it is leaking from the seal of the cylinder itself. I talked to Newmar about it and they suggested as it had been done here already to extend it clean it good and lube the cylinder then excersice it several times. I extended it cleaned it good and used fluid to lube the cylinder then operated it about 5 times. I will just watch it now and see how it does. If it doesn't leak more than it did this time I will just keep an eye on it until I can get it to a shop. Thanks for all the help on this guys.
