Moving up to a Newmar Ventana LE

We pick up our new-to-us 2014 Newmar Ventana LE 3436 on Monday. The 2013 Solera 24R is going down the road to new adventures with new owners. We enjoyed it for two years, but need more space to accommodate us and our traveling companions; Lizzie and Ellis (both Miniature Schnauzers) on the longer trips we are starting to take.

Thus, we will be moving from the Forest River Solera forum to the Newmar Owners forum. Looking forward to making new friends.

I'm in serious trouble with one of the Schnauzers! I mistyped her name; it is Ellie, not Ellis. Gonna have a hard time living that one down.

Thanks for the warm welcome. We are really looking forward to picking up the 3436 and getting started with a new and bigger coach. I'm sure there will be a learning curve, but this is not our first rodeo, so it will be fine.

It took some pretty serious negotiating to get the price to where we were comfortable with it, but persistence pays off. I feel we got a fair deal in the end.

Congratulations! We love ours although this first summer is showing the heat related issues with a mostly black coach.

Hi, Steve.

I have wondered about that. My first choice would have been a lighter color, but we had to go with what we could find. The 3436 models are pretty scarce out our way. Hopefully, the fact that the coach has the upgraded 15M Penguin heat pump AC option will help a bit. We'll see.

Since you're in the NW what dealer did you buy your LE from? I purchased ours from Guaranty in Junction City OR and was satisfied with the process overall.

We are going through Beaver Coach Sales in Bend. So far, everything has been good. The final test will be on Monday when we actually pick up the MH.
