I have never ordered a new RV, we have purchase a couple from dealer stock. IMHO if depends on the dealer, the current economy, and the make/model you are purchasing.

Several years ago we bought a new fiver from Lazy Days for close to 35% off MSRP. When we purchase our current coach it was closer to 22% off MSRP.

I realize this isn't much help. Maybe some folks who have recently ordered Newmars will chime in.

25 to 27% is what we got on the two DSDP's we ordered.

We ordered new through a Newmar dealer in 2017, got 28% off MSRP and all options; "specials" were at dealer cost. Our previous Monaco coach we bought out of dealer inventory and also got 28% off. We were newbies and perhaps could have gotten a bit more at that time (2008).

We got 27.5% off MSRP on the rig below and our specials went at dealer cost also. But this is with a factory pickup too.

I bought my motorhome from Guaranty RV when they had a facility in Gilroy California back in 2004. I got about 25% discount then.

My salesman said he got paid by the hour and wasn't pushy. His wife worked in the office as I recall.

I had excellent service from them the very few times I needed any work done.

When I bought mine Guaranty RV gave me the worst quote at 22%. Maybe they're better now. My advice would be to get a few quotes. I got 30% off and specials at dealers cost.

Huh?

Are you aware that Newmar provides build sheets with suggested MSRP prices for each model, floor plan and every available option. Easy to check and determine the percentage.

For those that are saying they got specials at cost... do you mean options( e.g. heated floors) or specials ( e.g. moving a wall to accomodate a larger bedside table) ? And how do you know what the cost was vs what they might be saying ?

Specials, not options. Options were subject to the same discount as the MRSP.

Once Newmar agrees to your list of specials (they turned down several of our requests and we agreed to modify some others after their feedback) they provide a list of the prices along with sketches to approve for those things requiring changes. We paid the Newmar price.
