Multiplex control (E-plex)

It’s been sometime back when I was checking on getting some things done on my 2008 Essex E-plex control when I was told they went out of business and no more parts are been produced. Best option was to replace the system which was very expensive. I just lived with it. Everything worked for the most part, just have to keep pushing the buttons continually to get it to work. Recently I decided to call Newmar for suggestions on ways to replace the unit. Longer story shorter, I found a place NautiMart.com which is a E-plex rep. I sent my control board in to them and they repaired it. So E-plex did not go out of business. Maybe you all know that and it’s just me in the dark. Lol

I also have a 2008 Essex. You explained that you had your control board rebuilt by Nauimart. How much did it cost for the rebuild? Besides not responding to you punches was anything else going on?
Thanks, Rob

The only problem I’ve had is the touch screen. The up/down arrows when set on boiler, the down worked ok but the up arrow would mostly never work. On my climate control group when changing modes on one zone instead of changing the mode it would switch to another zone ( i.e. living room to kitchen ) also when trying to change zones at time you have to punch it numerous time before it will change, same with the mode button. Those were my main problems. It cost me $240 for the rebuild + shipping. Shipped today and I should have it back by Thursday. Also if your board is to far gone they have new replacements that can be programmed to work exactly as your current one should $1500.

Update on Eplex control ECM. Got it back today and installed. Everything works as it should. Great customer service at NautiMart. Sent it out, got it fixed and returned to me all with in a week. They are in Florida and I’m in Nevada. Unbelievable, didn’t know you could get this kind of service anymore. Slav is the CS rep. That took care of me.
