MultiPlex Lighting Control System - Not working.

I have a 2019 Canyon Star 3911 with the touch pad lighting control system. Recently, I have found that the buttons have stopped working. So I cannot shut off the lights.

In order to get them to work again, I need to flip off the salesman switch for battery disconnect. This shuts off the all the lights and allows me to selectively turn on a few lights, before the panel stops working again. I will not be able to turn on all the lights, or turn off the ones that are on until I hit the battery disconnect button to turn everything off again. Then I can turn the few lights I need.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?
I have checked all the fuses and they appear to be fine.
It seems like there may be some sort of relay switch somewhere that is not resetting.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Seems like this may not be a common issue.

Does anyone have an idea on how to trouble shoot this?

Just an update for those wondering.
I still have no solution. Light switch panel still not working correctly, requiring reset of salesman switch.

However now I have driven it and found I have no parking lights or running lights.

Headlights and brake lights work fine.
Seems like it should not be related to the inside lights, but I wanted to mention it in case someone saw a connection.

Thanks for your thoughts.

If you think it might be your Multiplex contact NautiMart in Florida (google them). They are the Multiplex here in the US and are very helpful.

Thanks for the tip. We are on our way to Florida now and will look them up.
We were able to get the marker lights working my swapping out the ignition relay. We still have no solution for interior light switch issue.

MultiPlex Lighting Control System - Not working.

I have found the Kit box in my overhead IT cabinet above the TV and DVD player.
I have three Kib Electronics boards that manage the 12v lighting throughout the coach.

After flipping the salesman switch I have about 30 seconds to turn on any lights I want on. During this 30 seconds, the “bus light” flashes. Once the bus light stops flashing nothing more can be turned on or off. The only way to get the lights off is to flip the salesman switch off again.

It seems as though the bus just stops working after 30 seconds. If I do not turn on any lights the bus still stops flashing at 30 seconds.

Here are a few pictures of my Kit box with the three Kib electronic boards. You can see that each board has a bus light at the bottom.

I will call Kib Electronics in the morning to see if I can trouble shoot this further.

MultiPlex Lighting Control System - Not working.

Here is a thread I started a little while back when I caused a problem with my KIB system. 7.5A fuse replacement fixed my issue with 1/2 of the panels not working. Depending upon floorplan I can easily see this affecting different panels (more/less) in other setups.

Good luck

My KIB system sometime goes wonky too. I just cross my fingers and hope for the best. My bathroom light can be turned on in the bathroom but I have to turn it off at the coach entry door. I long for the good old days when all you had to do was put in a new toggle switch and be done with it.

All of my KIB controllers are located in the back wall of the coach where the circuit breaker panel is located.

Since the switches apparently work right after you turn on the system that would seem to eliminate them as the issue. What the real issue is I have no idea but I don't think it's the switches.
