My Rozie

For those of you who have the My Rosie feature (TM550) module on your Silverleaf system do you use it? If so, what features do you use the most?

I do and find it a great way to monitor my coach while it's in storage as well as being able to control certain features remotely (e.g. with it 21°F outside this morning, I can monitor my storage building temp which according to Rosie is 55°F at the moment).

I added the module to my LADP. It saved me once when generator came on in storage to "exercise" the generator. Needless to say, that is not what I needed in a closed garage. I got an email alert, and went to the website and turn off the generator.

I like it. My only complaint is it feels like a 90's website. The user interface could use a lot of work.

Agree. Even though it feels dated it works. I don't understand why it is not offered as an option on all Newmar coaches.

Based on old documentation it appears the "modern" version of SilverLeaf appeared around 2012. MyRozie became available a few years later. Until the NA, SilverLeaf/MyRozie was only found in the high end coaches so the installed base is pretty small.

Here are the things I would like to see:

1. Updated MyRozie status website.
2. IOS P2P Application for direct connection to the coach (versus the current FTP connection).
3. Option to fetch a full resolution image from the coach.
4. Motion sensing on coach cameras as a security system (may require new node with appropriate logic)
5. Add chassis battery to those parameters with alarm notifications.
6. Add in coach sound and motion sensing (may require new SilverLeaf node) for security monitoring.

I agree. If you look at cars, they are rolling computers. Totally interactive. Now I know the coach builders want to avoid problems and calls, but they need to get with the program. I had to have Silverleaf fly to AZ to install all the latest and greatest electronics, including the glass dash. I got as close to a King Aire as I could (some stuff is just not in my coach). I would have happily bought the upgrades at the time of build. G
