Mysterious Find

We have a 2020 Ventana 4037. We have been at a campground for the past 2 weeks and today I went into the water bay to to empty tanks and saw a piece of heavy metal. Approx. 6" long that is a right angle. It was located at the back left corner of the wet bay, under the water pump. The only place I can see it may be from is the left side of what I think his the heater in the bay. It is the metal object behind the water bay wall and located above. The left side of this object is loose and it appears that some screws were missing. Does this object have a 90 degree metal piece screwed to protect wiring/hoses from being heated? Is not needed? OR, is this piece of metal from another location? Thank you in advance for any information/assistance.

That sounds like the support material Newmar uses to keep the water panel from flapping. The panel attaches to the angle aluminum and that aluminum attaches either to structural wall or nothing at all.

I am guessing this is a piece that attaches to nothing else and the sheet metal screw on one end stripped out the hole during install and wiggled out.

It's only purpose is to reduce flexing on the panel.
