Need Good Dash A/C repair shop in San Diego area

Just had it fixed at Nappanee a few days ago. They found a problem and it worked fine for about half of our trip home. Then we were getting less and less cool air and now just blowing at room temperature.

Dash Air repair has held up

We had our Evans Tempco dash air repaired by RV Specialists, 8616 Miramar Pl, San Diego, CA. 858-455-9898. https://myrvspecialists.com

We took it to another place first. They couldn't find the problem and thought the leak was in the lines that go the length of the coach. That was not the problem. RV Specialists found the leak quickly and pressure tested the system, since we were ready to leave on a cross country trip. This was in July 2012. The system has worked fine ever since.

I should have mentioned that it is the dash air. The roof airs are working fine.

Highly recommend SD RV Center for paint work

For those of you in the greater San Diego area, I also recommend San Diego RV Center. I went there to have some scratches removed after seeing a 2006 DP they had refreshed. This was all prior to the COVID restrictions, but I sent SD RV photos of the scratches I wanted fixed. They gave me a tentative estimate by email, so I could decide if it was worth it for the fix. The paint is several years old now but still matches and looks great. It was done when promised and an easy transaction. I've never had other work done there.

I had RV Specialties remove some scratches. They gave me the estimate after a personal inspection. They had to redo the work three times before getting it right. It has also held up for several years, but it took much longer than expected and they they tried to charge more for the additional materials they used. I wasn't happy with the service that time around. I was quite disappointed because they did a great job on the dash A/C with a short turn around.

You appear to have a 2019; take it to Freightliner (aka Velocity Truck Center) on Miramar Rd, the dash air is still under warranty. They’ve serviced my 2017 twice under warranty. They replaced the pressure switch AGAIN 2 weeks ago.

I ended up taking the Coach to Frieghtliner for the AC issue. They found a bad control board and it is working again. I called Newmar and spoke to the Supervisor of the group that worked on my AC and he referred the problem to Jeff Cambell in customer service. I never did here from him or anyone is customer service. Disappointed with their customer service a couple of times now.
