Need Help for Electrical Issue
My 2000 dutchstar has been sitting idle for almost 3 years because of a wiring issue.I think mice chewed a wire somewhere. Nothing at all happens when i turn the key. no lights, no sound. like a dead battery but the batteries are ok.i am looking for Newmar repair facility that will either get a local tow truck or send one here for it. I am in Augusta GA.

Is this a new development or the same as 3 years ago before you stopped using the coach? How old are your batteries and how have you maintained their charge?
All things being equal (and connected correctly) no lights and no sound can be completely dead batteries, a bad ignition relay, or its fuse (normally in close proximity to the relay). Was your coach hooked up to shore power when you measured the battery voltage? If so, you may be reading the voltage from your converter (if your coach is able to charge the chassis batts from shore power). Also note that 12 volts from the batteries doesn't necessarily mean they're good and what may be lacking is the craning amps to power anything.
Need more info and maybe you can avoid an expen$ive tow.

I would be looking for a mobile automotive mechanic with a moderate electrical skill. I could do it, or know a younger smarter guy that has way more experience. They're around, just not "listed in the yellow pages". You'd have to know how to find them. It's not unusual for automotive repair shops to have one set of mechanics to do the brakes and tires, another level to do the tougher stuff, and then one guy THEY call to fix the ones that they're still stumped with. They don't give that phone number out to just anybody though. If you have a regular mechanic, ask him. If you have friends or relatives local that could possibly know where to look, ask them. A 2000 isn't going to be terribly complicated, don't need the smartest tech, just average electrical experience is plenty to get started, 90+% chance of success.
Plenty of things you could try yourself if you're interested in suggestions.

You checked voltage at the battery…
Check the circuit protection. Spartan chassis normally has two dc breakers there in the battery compartment. Freightliner has two 150A fuses. Check voltage…reset/replace. If it trips again…maybe you are right about mice
Then we have a long run of wire going to the front compartment under the driver. The big wires terminate there…and feed a whole lot of distribution panels. Check voltage there…
If you have voltage all of these places…a simple ignition switch or wire bad could cause things not to come on.

Forgot to mention…you might check the ground connection to the chassis frame. from the batteries.
