Need to drain brake canisters on 2000 DSDP?

Do I need to drain the air from my brake system to get rid of moisture?

I read someplace that there is a cable(s) hooked up to the brake canisters and need to be pulled to drain the air system.

Any input on this is appreciated.

Spartan did not install drain cables on the 2000 DSDP, but many owners added them. I don't think the Freightliner chassis had the cables either. You need to get under the motorhome and manually drain the three tanks by shoving the drain valves to the side. You can add cables yourself to make the job easier next time.
