Need water help

04 Newmar Kountry Star. System works great but I just hooked up to city water for the first time. No water is coming out of the faucets. There has got to be a valve I need to switch over but I have no clue where it is located. Help please.

Is it going into the fresh water tank? You might have the fill valve in the wrong position.

The first thing you need to check as the previous poster said is to make sure you have the fill switch to city water and not to filling the water tank. If the switch is located to city water then I would check the water filter and then the check valve behind where the hose connection is made. I had no water to either the city water or the water tank and the check valve or back flow preventer as some call it was stuck. I removed the hose and stuck and small screw driver in the hose connection hole and pushed in gently and reconnected the hose and every thing worked. When this happened to me I was in weather that was near freezing.

Welcome to the forum and irv2.
Here is a Brochure and Owners Guide for you.
Below in my signature are links to many more for your Newmar.
Have a good clean filter in the whole house filter container.
Enjoy your coach and safe travels.

Thanks all, got it working. It appears I still had the water pump on. When I hooked up to city water and shut off the pump it worked perfectly. Must have benn a check valve doing it's job.

Wow, I didn't know the water pump would override the city water! I'll have to check that on mine.

It will supply more water pressure if campground has poor water pressure.
