Maybe you add the new board and not substitute?

Here is the old AC system and here is the new system 5 button therm.
Make sure the gaskets on AC unit are installed correctly.
If your going from 4 button to 5 button thermostat control than will need new controls in AC's.

Its a 4 or 5 button if its a new 5 button control than you will need a new circuit boards for the AC's.
Look at the wiring diagram for 5 button control. If you already had a 5 button control than swap the control board to new AC.
It is the correct AC????
Have no idea what the 12 is there talking about????

The Rv has 5 button thermo. The instructions that came with the circuit board look simple. But when I open up the elect panel on the ac unit, there is no circuit board to swap....
