New Aire 2019 Rain Shower Head Pipe Support Mod !

As I posted earlier, only 8k miles on our coach and the original Rain Shower came crashing down, pipe, shower head, with the angled tile wall mount while driving on a rough highway. Held only by the flex water pipe from hitting the floor! I was surprised how heavy the whole assembly is, and only supported by the small angled wall tile siliconed in place ! After cleaning off the silicone seal from the rear of the angled mount and where it attached, I determined that it is not strong enough to support the whole rain shower assembly. After temporarily holding it all up in correct position we measured a 1 7/8" pipe center support to the ceiling would prevent this from happening again! Got real lucky after much looking, and found a matching silver colored, strong metal, bath wall mount hook with the correct dimension for mounting to the shower ceiling. Marked where it should be attached to the shower ceiling to support the pipe in the correct position, and attached it. Found a high strength clear silicone adhesive to mount the angled wall mount and also countersunk a oval head brass 8x1" screw on each side of the angled to hold it in place till the adhesive set. Also a drop of silicone at the spot where the pipe rests on the ceiling hook. Pictures enclosed of the project and Delta wall hook! You might consider this modification if your Rain Shower head is mounted as ours was ! All the Best ! Gary
