New Aire Rear Camera Frozen

I have a 2019 New Aire. Just fired it up today for the first time in a while and my rear camera is frozen. I have a picture which I can switch between the three rear view angles but the picture never changes. I have tried turning off the salesman switch and the chassis battery cutoff. I have tried unplugging the power cable to the camera control module in the storage bay and reconnecting it. This gives me a new picture but it still never moves. All the other cameras work fine with real moving pictures.

I'm gonna switch the wires on the rear camera to another camera port and see if it starts working and I'll post the results.

I'm open to any other suggestions anyone comes up with. It is the factory installed Xite Camera system that comes on the New Aire.

I had similar problem about two months ago. Cameras froze, changing modes took forever if at all, etc. I called Newmar's vendor RiverPark. In our cargo bay on the passenger side where a bunch of electronic controls are mounted, one is called HDCMM. You will see it has a power plug and a series of wire connections labelled for the various cameras. They said unplug the power plug and wait a full five minutes then plug it back it. They stressed the five minutes thing.

For us this worked.

Thanks. I'll give that a shot. I tried it before but didn't wait like they told you to do. I'm hoping it works. If it doesn't work I am going to be calling RiverPark on Tuesday.

Similar camera problem on our 2019 New Aire

Watching this thread and anxious for a solution. On our coach, right side camera not working and nothing from front/right & front/left camera (the ones that come on with turn signals). Ours has been buggy since the warranty expired
Wondering if Silverleaf system switching is involved. We probably need a new camera for the right side, no luck on Newgle, any ideas of brand/model, anyone?

I talked to RiverPark yesterday. I told them all the troubleshooting steps I had taken.
1. unpluged the camera module power for 5 minutes.
2. switched the front and rear camera wires...the front camera works fine in the rear camera plug, rear camera still doesn't work in the front camera slot.
3. Disconnected both the chassis and coach batteries by removing the wires for 20 minutes then reconnected.
The only change was that instead of a still picture I got a washed out picture. Like you turned the brightness all the way up and the contrast all the way down.
RiverPark had no other suggestions for diagnosics and said it's either the rear camera or the cable. From reading on another forum about others who have had camera failures I'm betting it is the camera so I bought a replacement from RiverPark.

On another forum I read that the cameras are turned on 24x7 so that people with an internet connection to their coach can view the camera feeds using MyRosie over the internet. The cameras apparently are not designed for continuous use so they burn out. Several folks said that they had either installed a power switch or physically unplugged the camera module in the storage bay to resolve this problem.

The being on 24/7 is really surprising. If you drive 10,000 miles per year you only need them on about 200 hours per year; which is about 2% of the time. Most electronic systems have better power management than that. But that coincides with the implied reason why they asked me if my coach had sat for several months when mine froze up.
