New Aire Seating Options

In the process of buying a New Aire 3545. This forum has been great in answering many of my questions in choosing this unit. Upgrading from a Leisure Unity which served us very well, but times change and we need a larger unit.

For those of you with the new theater seating, are you happy with your choice? We are torn between the sofa which would be great for additional guests if needed and perhaps more comfortable theater seating.

With the theater seating, does the back recline? if so, would it be a decent place to sleep if it was truly necessary. Seems you do lose some seating space with the built in center console.

We got rid of our recliners and center console for Newmar installed theater seating in our 2019MA, and we love them. They are very comfortable, the back does go back and down as the foot comes up. I have no problem taking a nap.

In our coach they had to make them very wide with a very large storage compartment in the center and two lighted cup holders.

Thanks,,,,It appears on the New Aire there is somewhat traditional recliners they call theater seating with a table between the two chairs. On the 3545 the theater seating is more like a sofa with a built in console between the two seats. This setup is what I am wondering about.

Yes ours is one unit with a console between the two. Newmar has been offering the traditional recliners with a built in table between the two for years. 2020 was the first year that they offered unit theater seating.

Does the back also recline? Are you happy with your decision? Reason for my questions is we sold our current unit faster than we expected and now have to maybe pick one from the lot instead of ordering.

The back does indeed recline, your head and and back recline as the foot comes up. You don't get horizontal but its close.

We are very happy with this decision.
