New Aire tow setup

Hey Guys, Again thanks for all the advice so far . I'm going to do factory pickup and some have sujested I take the toad and tow it home.

My question is what do I need to do to accomplish this? I see a lot of people recommend the Aire force braking systems and the blue ox tow bar.

If I get the setup installed on my toad, (Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit). Do I need to have anything installed on the New Aire other than a hitch?

If you have the Air Force One breaking system installed on your toed already the only thing you will require on the coach is the ping(air) tank on the coach. Call Newmar and discuss it with them. I understand that there are a few places that do the install on the toed and or coach in Nappanee . Also if you buy the Air Force one I believe it is cheaper to buy the entire kit for the toad and coach. Many have had both installed in Nappanee which is most likely the cheapest and easiest.

Enjoy the Coach

I guess I really did not fully answer your question. I assumed you already had everything installed on your toed. Upon reading it again I think maybe I misread. You will need to have the base plate for the Blue ox installed and required wiring done. Again you may be able to have all this done while getting your coach in Nappanee.

Thanks, that's correct. I have nothing so far.

I can highly recommend Dan’s service center in nearby Elkhart, IN (just set up my Jeep Wangler with an AirForce One, etc), but make sure you get an appointment way in advance. They are very busy these days.

Your New Aire will already have the hitch and the 7 pin wiring connections. What you'll need is the AF1 where 1/2 will be installed under the hood of your toad and the other half (air tank) on the coach. Other items will be the toad baseplate and wiring for the brake light and turn signals for the Summit..The extra parts should come as part of the Blue Ox kit. cables and such.
