New Bay Star Sport 2903 and waiting to go..

My wife and I have been RVing for a few years now. In September of 2015 we went to the Hershey RV show not knowing we needed a new one. After walking around looking at all the different coaches. We knew a Newmar was going to be in our future. The fit and finishes are far above the competition, but so was the pricing. At the end of October, a 2016 BSS 2903 was ordered. A delivery date of mid-Feb.was given. On January 11 we went to the factory to see our unit being built. It was great....The people we meet were wonderful. Our coach was sitting on the line between two Dutch Stars and looked like a little peanut. By mid-Feb. it was delivered. Brought it home, put our gear in from the old motor home, and took it to the limestone mine for winter storage. Didn't even get to play with it at all. So now just waiting till April 8th to pull it out and start using it. But I have enjoyed reading all the questions and answers on this forum.

Congrats on the new coach. We had done the same as you. Went to the Tampa Super Show with intent to just look. Bought a new coach two years in a row. You will love the Newmar. Blue Skies and Safe Travels

Congratulations on your new Bay Star. The only thing I am confused about is I thought there was no 2903s for 2016. Did you have it pre-ordered before the end of the 2015 model year?

What I am not confused about is knowing that you will love your Bay Star.

Thanks for the kind words and safe travels to all of you too. Avid: Yes they do not have a 2903 in the Bay Star line but it is in the Bay Star Sport(BSS). If Newmar would have offered one in the Bay Star i would have gotten it for the 22 inch wheels.Oh well one year to late.

Thanks, my bad for missing the BSS part. I guess I was thinking they had quit building the 2903 totally. We purchased our 3103 sooner than we were planning to because it was discontinued for '16. I hope you enjoy your new motorhome.

Congrats on your 2903. I hope you like it as much as we hope to like our 3004 which we've had for about two weeks, spent a week in it and so far so good. Just have a short list of items to be adjusted. I remember going on the tour and seeing a 2702 being built between to very large diesels. Sure makes them look small ( until you have to wax it)!

Best of luck.
