BS…..do not buy at 15% off. Hold for the 25-30+. It will come SOON.

Discount
If you cannot get 30% discount off MSRP you are being out negotiated by the salesman. They are not going to offer you that steep of a discount, you have to earn it thru your negotiating skills.

A 2020 Newmar Dutch Star 4369 loaded MSRP was $509,000
A 2022 Newmar Dutch Star 4369 loaded MSRP is $577,000
FYI
Figure your discount from that.

This has nothing to do with negotiating skills. It is supply and demand. The allotment for dealers is 50% less than in previous years. There is not a coach that hits the lots that is special ordered, or a spec coach that is sold before it even arrives. If you do not buy it, there are 10 people behind you that will. No way is anyone getting close to 30% unless they are taking it in the shorts on a trade.

Just where did you read that dealers are allocated 50% of previous years, other than somebody's post, or was that just a line given to you by a sales person? RV shipments are 53.8% higher than last year according to the RVIAs report that was issued a week or two ago. What is really up is the number of first time buyers. That means dealerships are not competing for customers as much and that is where the supply and demand plays into it.

Those discounts are pre-pandemic...they do not exist at this time...period.

I think most of those new RV's being sold are trailer and entry level buyers. Which will be flooding the market in a year or two. IMO

From Newmar directly, and every dealer I spoke to. Tiffin has the same reduction. There are hundreds of coaches sitting at manufactures waiting on furniture, AC and other components.

Another thing I've noticed is 2021 model year used selling for MSRP. These are hi end coaches. Not travel trailers or regular class c's. They all say "one trip, health forces sale".
