New Newmar Owners

Just traded our Thor Serrano 33A for a 2012 Canyon Star 3856. Take possession on 12/19. Great excitement. Would love to get feedback from other Canyon Star owners.

Welcome to the Newmar world. I don't have a canyon star but the little sister bay star. With a few suspension mods they are pretty decent driving rigs. If I were you I would do the cheap handling fix first and go from there. You can see in my sig some of the mods I have done to the baby star. You can read all about the CHF on the ford chassis section on here. You can do it in a hour or two and it doesn't cost a dime. You will love yourself after you drive it. The koni shocks are another mod worth doing as I did mine after 3k miles. Whole new great ride. And quite on the extension joints. And I think the rear trac bar is a must also. Keeps the tail from wagging the dog.

Welcome Acemart to the forum and congratulations with your Newmar.
Here is a Owners Guide and Brochure for your coach. Both will contain info on your coach.
If any questions just ask plenty of help here to help you out.
Once you get your coach you can use your coach build number or VIN# with this link and fine more info on your own coach.
Enjoy and many safe miles ahead for you.

Congrats on your Newmar purchase. We don't have a Canyon Star but I'm sure you will enjoy the Newmar experience. They build a great product. Have a great time.

Welcome to the Canyon Star ownership ranks. IMO the CS is one of the best gas coaches on the market and you should have many pleasurable experiences. Also don't think you will need any particular modifications to enjoy a comfortable, stabile ride. After almost 3 years of ownership, we are still very pleased with ours in spite of minor problems we have experienced. Enjoy and post often.
