New oval security lights ?
My bulb in the new black oval security light burned out yesterday. Just looking at the thing....how do you open the fixture to replace the bulb?
Do I need a big hammer, screwdriver or both?

Have to answer my own question. Called Newmar service, the lens has some tabs, one at the top and 2 at the bottom of the lens. I used a screwdriver to pry out the top tab to get the lens out for bulb replacement.

Thanks for answering your own question Siggy, the older ones had 4 screws through lens, now we all know about both.

Hi! Thanks. We just started to experiment with LED bulbs. I was wondering if we could get the warm color LED to replace the current bulbs. Regards, Paul

I found the following post interesting:

I know we have about 60 halogens inside and you probably have more.
