New Scottsdale Owner
Hello everyone!
Been reading posts on this and other forums all summer and have learned a lot.
We bought a 2003 Scottsdale 5 days ago and have been going thru it prior to taking it out.
I have a couple of questions on the HWH leveling jacks (manual model).
I think the level sensor needs to be calibrated. The yellow control panel light
for the front is always on.Does anyone know where it's mounted?
Does the converter charger charge the batteries and then go into a float mode or does it continue to charge at a steady rate?
Thanks for helping,I will probably have more questions but don't want to ask too many first time out!

Welcome to the forum.
Believe you have a Workhorse chassis and here is some info on the leveler sensor, found in MAX HUBRICH MOD Section in QT's # 3 second section.
All the links below in my signature will have info for your Newmar.
Top of forum will find a TSB link that will lead you to brochure, owners guide, recalls and more useful info.
Enjoy your Newmar and safe travels.

Have you tried to look up the HWH support on the web? I've never looked, but maybe they have a site that can help you with your specific model and questions...

Called tech support, they are calling me back.
Their web support doesn't give info other than how to adjust the level sensor.
I think it is defective but wanted to be sure before ordering one.

Eh, maybe just get a bubble level to start with. I have found that sensor on the control pad will get you close, but not exactly level.
