Some of you know me/us, but for the rest of you here on the Newmar Owners Forum, I’m Larry, my wife is Amy and our K9 traveling companion is Grover.

We aren’t new to RV ownership by any means but are new to Newmar, having recently taken delivery of a 2022 Super Star 4061. The Super Star is our sixth motorhome (first Super C) over the past 20+ years. I’ve spoken and/or corresponded with a number of you over the past year or more, but want to give a special shout-out to GUS2000 and redbaron73, both of whom have been exceedingly generous with their time and expertise as I attempted to become more familiar with the specifics of purchasing and owning a Newmar motorhome. You guys are the best and we sincerely appreciate all of your advice & assistance!

Larry welcome to the Newmar side. We have never officially meet, but I have received a lot of valuable help and advice from you on the TRVN forum when we had our Phaeton (2013-2021).

Congratulations on your new Super Star it's beautiful. We will hopefully pick up our 2022 4059 from Sport Truck in a few weeks. We placed our deposit/order in early July 2021 as well. Just waiting on a few item's to complete the build now scheduled for 4/1. Our excitement is building daily as we inch closer to moving into our new home.
Just like you GUS 2000 was very helpful during our research and was instrumental in our decision to go with Newmar Superstar. Looking forward to sharing our ownership experience with others very soon.

Gary, thank you very much for the kind words.

I noticed Edmond, Oklahoma in your signature block. My mom and dad were both born in that general area way back when. In fact my mother and a number of her family members are buried in Whisler Cemetery, about ten miles northwest of Edmond.

And one of my cousins & her husband live in a nice development called Hickory Hills, a mile or two east of Pops and the big round barn in Arcadia.

Larry I know each of those places well. We live 3 miles from Pops and 5 from the round barn.

Welcome to the dark side Larry. I came from a Cornerstone to a New Aire because I could not convince Pat Carroll and company to build a small luxury Coach. We live in Stillwater and are quite familiar with the landmarks pictured. We love our New Aire and have had great support from both Newmar and Freightliner.

I had a similar conversation with Pat Carroll in September 2019 when Amy & I attended PJ's "Entegra University" class. I wasn't interested in a smaller luxury Class A, but I was curious to know if Entegra was going to "go there."

Pat did a good job of talking all around the question without quite answering it. My takeaway was something like, "Not anytime soon."

That said, Entegra is supposedly going to reveal info on their 2023 model year coaches at the big FMCA gathering this week in Tucson. Who knows, maybe a "Newspire" or "Newthem" or "Newstone" will be part of the announcements...?

Just one more day until we pick our new home up. Here's a sneak peek at our custom colors paint. She passed the independent 3rd party inspection with flying colors!!! More pic's to come.
