New to Newmar - Best Forum?

I am new to Newmar, planning to order a Dutch Star 4369 soon. Is this the best Forum for Newmar information? Is there a separate Forum just for Newmar owners?

On the top of your screen there is a menu bar, chose owners forums, then select Newmar. That is the forum for specifically Newmar issues on IRV2. If you have an issue with the chassis, you may have more luck searching Spartan or Freightliner forums or posting there if you have any questions. Welcome aboard, and Good Luck with your coach! I'm envious!

There was a Newmar forum on Yahoo but neither the information nor the camaraderie were up to what I found here. I haven't been back to that one in several years and don't know if it even exists any more.

welcome

Yep, you found the right place!! Welcome. Several regulars here have 2016 DSDP 4369's either recently delivered, about to be delivered, or on order. A good primer to ordering a coach is IRV2 member Mike Griffin's blog at Life in the Slow Lane and the thread titled 2016 Deliveries.

You've found THE place for your Newmar questions to be answered. If you continue to visit, you will find answers to questions you haven't yet thought of. There is SO much to learn on this sight. As you become more knowledgeable, it is even better to share your knowledge and experience with others. We look forward to you joining the Newmar family. Congratulations on your upcoming purchase!

I agree that this is the place to talk motorhomes and Newmar. Many participants and you can learn a bunch from other forums as well. Good luck with your new coach. You chose well.

Once I found this forum I haven't gone anyplace else. And when you have questions, you typically get answers within hours if not minutes.

In addition to this forum I suggest you join the Newmar Kountry Klub and your local chapter. By attending one of their rallies you'll have an opportunity to meet some fellow Newmar owners, making it possible to communicate directly and possibly get to know other living close by.

If you are going to Quartzsite you can attend the "Gathering in the Desert" were 75 Newmar coaches gathered last year and they expect around 80 this year.

Wish I had found this forum awhile ago....

I had joined the IRV2 forum awhile back but never really delved into it much. We went ahead and placed an order for a 2016 DSDP at the Hershey Show and thought we did pretty well with options, etc. Now that we are getting the DS, I decided to go on this site to learn more about it. Really wish I had taken the time to do all the reading BEFORE we placed the order. Fortunately my dealer rep has allowed me to make some modifications to our order after the fact; primarily (I think) because we are still early in the process as we are not taking delivery until April 2016! I would highly recommend the Newmar Owners forum for anyone looking to upgrade or buy first time!

Congrats on your soon to be DSDP! That's great to hear that you were able to get those "specials" in before the deadline. I kept on adding/changing things to my list and I'm sure that they were getting sick of me, but I'm very happy with the results, as I'm sure you will be too.

As others have said, THIS is the place to be. It's by far the best community of RVing in general and Newmar specific information.
