New to us 2016 Ventana 4037

Just drove it home to Louisville from Grand Rapids MI on 2/01/2020. Beautiful condition...really well maintained.

Congrats on a great looking Ventana! Welcome to the Newmar family and also to iRV2 forum! Also like your names!

We purchased our 2016 Ventana LE 4037 ten months ago at NIRV in Dallas (we upgraded from a 2007 Damon Astoria 3774). After ~3,000 miles of use have had ZERO problems! You'll love the floor plan!

The only item that, for us, is a "take it or leave it" is the folding "desk" on the co-pilot seat. We found that when the co-pilot seat is rotated to face into the living area that the folding desk takes up precious room at the top of the entry stairs. The resulting tight space is not a problem for just the two of us, but when we have our large family together (three grown children, their spouses and seven grandchildren) for an LSU football weekend, that tight space is a "pain" for grandkids as the bang their legs on the bottom of the desk arm. Unfortunately the folding desk is 'tack welded' in place and not easily removable.

Love our 2016... It's got the passive tag, STAR foundation, Rear Escape Door... and I personally like the non-silverleaf system.

Congratulations on your new coach, it is beautiful. Looks like the previous owners took real good care of it. We have the 2016 Ventana 3725 and we can't say enough about all the good things we like about it. I think you will be really happy with the Ventana.

Thanks for the time to share your 2016 VENTANA comments...so far it's great validation of our buy. Have 7 trips booked so far thru this July...state parks in TN and KY...going back to Fall Creek falls in TN this summer....great state park...I am retiring on 5/29...then expanding west and southwest on our exploring. Any special recommendations ?

Silverleaf is one of the touch screen interface systems. It's designed to allow you to co troll all your systems and monitors from one place. The problem, for me, is that it leaves out many options that you have with the Ventana.

I swapped out my ME-RC remote for the ME-ARC, and added the ME-BMK. So Auto Gen Start can be set to trigger for many more options. I added Engine Preheat to my Oasis. I just find the Ventana is easier to customize.

These are some things I've added...

A-pillar Ram Track
Wade's cockpit carpeting
Di filter for gen bay water
ME-BMK battery monitor
ME-ARC remote
1,440w of Solar w/Victron SmartSolar 150/100-TR charge controller, BMV-712, and Venus GX.
Bluetooth enabled SeeLevel II tank monitor
Wireless remotely operated dump valves
Boogey Light...under slideouts and underbelly
Fantastic Fan covers
AF-1 Brake System for toad
Fumoto drain valves on engine and generator
TPMS repeater mounted in Half-Bath cabinet
Extra puck lights under kitchen cabinets like the 2017's and later have
Outlet in corner below wall mirror in Bedroom
Wood lovers to cover fantastic fans in bathrooms
Shadepro for Carefree awning

We're really enjoying our coach...and with the upgrades I've added...in no hurry to trade it in.
