New To Us DS 4018
Picked up our new baby a 2014 DS 4018 only 3400 miles. Still smells new. My wife loved the ride compared to orur Georgetown that we traded in. I have a lot of learning to do.
The dealer changed the oil and filter and serviced the generator. I plan to go to a Freightliner shop for a chassis lube and 2 recalls and a Cummins recall. Anything else I am missing?

Air filter is a biggie. Change every 2-3 years regardless of miles. They can physically deteriorate and bits and pieces can be invested by the engine. A very bad thing...
Fuel filters should be changed when oil was changed.

Welcome to the forum and the Newmar family.
You can find a lot out about your DS by going into QT's # 3 and read the HOOT's threads who have purchased the 4018's and have written many threads about them for storage, maintenance and Mod's they have added.
Below in my signature you will find links to many more for your Newmar.
Congratulations on your DSDP the mainstay of the Newmar family for many years.
Enjoy and safe travels.

We have the 3738, same color as yours. We had a brake petal sensor sticking issue. The coach thought you had the brake petal continually pushed and would not allow cruise control and brake lamps would burn even after shutting down. freightliner replaced ness parts.
We recently received (2) Newmar recalls. One for the throttle petal , the other the electric entrance step.
We are currently trying to figure out why the Oasis is not heating when we demand hot water and the indash nav antenna went kapoot, have an external antenna from the back of the unit to the top of the dash for now till be get home for winter fixus.
Driving threw rain the rear tires were throwing water into the basement compartment to the front of the rear tires and soaking everything or when on a dry dirt road, covering all in the dust. Newmar OKed the dealer to seal it properly.
Overall a great unit.

Just as a precaution, I would change the fuel filters. If they become clogged you'll be stranded

The first 14 months we owned our 2015 4018 we had no problems with the brake pedal/stop light sticking. Then Freightliner did the brake pedal re-call and we've been fighting a sticking brake pedal since. Any time the cruise control won't activate I just hook my toe under the brake pedal and give a little lift, then cruise starts. Trying to get an appointment again for them to try the 2nd time to fix this problem. No way are they going to touch my throttle pedal for that re-call.
Jury still out on our opinion of the coach after 3 trips back to the factory, both roof airs were replaced (and resulted in a severe rain water leak), bad water leak at driver's side window, 2 of the 3 roof power vents replaced, all upholstered furniture recovered, all 51 ceiling lights replaced, drain leak under kitchen sink, 1/2 bath sink stopper wouldn't pop back up, all dash instruments went out, windshield wipers just recently will only work from one button on steering wheel and then only on slow speed, dash air conditioner never worked (was less than 1/2 full of freon), has an air leak in the coach's air system that is yet to be found, just discovered one of the 3 floor heating pads is intermittently on/off, and the list goes on.
Many things to watch and look out for.

Thanks for the welcomes and all the great information, many things to look out for and to learn. First trip is Columbus Day weekend in Lancaster, PA.
Yes I am going to have the fuel filters changed along with a chassis lube and 2 FL recalls and a Cummins recall. Anything else maintenance wise that I should be looking at?
Hoping to post a few more pictures once the rains stop.
