Looking at buying a 2011 Mini Cooper, it has a key fob instead of regular key Does anyone know if you just leave it in the steering wheel will be unlocked. I'm not sure if the steering wheel has a lock.

We tow our 2015 MINI roadster just the way Bob & Jackie do, key in my pocket, emergency brake off, and transmission in neutral. Can't get much easier than that. This is the easiest car to two we have ever had.

I have a blue ox tow system do you use a drop down receiver since the Mini is lower than a mid size car or truck in our case we tow a jeep
We have a 2014 roadster and lso love it. Before this one we had a 2010 Clubman which got us hooked on Minis as toads.
To answer your question, it all depends on your coach’s receiver height. On our Allegro Bus we used a drop. On our current Dutch Star the height is perfect as is. The idea is that your tow bars should be as level to the ground as possible.
Welcome to Mini.
