New video from NIRVC on paint and body inspection posted
A new video from NIRVC has been posted talking about paint and body inspections and quality. There is a 40 item checklist that they'll be using to inspect new coaches and their own repairs.
Looks like the NIRVC team is stepping up the game yet again.

I can personally tell you that Mark & team are doing things right at NIRVC. My coach looks better than any other coach I have ever seen after having NIRVC do a 3 stage paint correction.
Newmar advertises the cut and buff, and at one time they actually did a good job. The quality that the factory is producing is not good, even on the 1.2M+ King aire. Thankfully, Newmar has a terrific warranty, and that warranty paid to have NIRVC do a 3-stage paint correction on my coach. The resulting quality is something that has to be seen in person, as pictures don't show the depth of the color, and the clarity.

Great to hear that you have firsthand experience with Mark. I wonder if they'll be publishing their 40-point checklist that was mentioned in the video.
And, yes, your coach looks amazing. Can't wait to see it after the ceramic coating is finished.

Here is the link to the webpage containing the NIRVC paint and body standard. Please note that if you do not have a login for our website you will need to create one. NIRVC felt that this was so important that we wanted to protect it with a login and a watermark imbedded into the document. It is our vision to bring transparency to everything we do and ensure that our customers have confidence in our process and our intentions to do the job correctly. As John Wooden famously stated, "If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?" We believe in doing it right the first time and avoidi disappointing customers. Putting the standard on our website gives our customer the opportunity to grade our work and ensure we did just that!

Mark,
Thank you for sharing the checklist. I have signed in but, the link does not appear to work. The PDF file doesn't appear to be there when the new tab opens.
Thank you,

Sorry about that, Broker. We were having an issue with our Content Delivery Network where the file was available in certain parts of the country while not being available in other parts. As of 7:40am Central this morning, I believe this issue has been resolved. Please let us know if you continue to experience issues accessing the download.

NIRVC Folks ... I assume this standard/procedure applies to all NIRVC locations ... not just Dallas? We took delivery of a new Mountain Aire back in March at the Atlanta location, so might see about going back to them to just get some touch up of a few areas that would have been addressed if this policy was in effect back then. I admire NIRVC for trying to raise the bar like this.

Hello FL Steve! First, thank you for the admiration! We think we are doing something truly unique by setting a standard and sharing it. Our principles should, and will, be available to the consumer. And this is just the start, we will next be working on and releasing “OUR” PDI standards. Our standard is applicable to all of our NIRVC locations, we would love to have you to Atlanta or any of the other locations to review your Mountain Aire. If you have any questions or want to share some photos, please private message me!
