New water pump arrives with water inside

I bought a new upgraded pump (Flojet 5.0) from Campingworld online for a little under $200. It was delivered today in the original box and when I opened it up, water leaked out from it. I'm wondering if I got a returned unit or if Flojet tests their pumps. Someone says I should return it... I'm not sure it's worth the trouble. If someone has ordered a new Flojet, do you remember water leaking out of it?

We were told they are tested and a small amount of water is normal.

I purchased two pumps from Camping World (didn’t want to buy from CW but they had the best price, believe it or not!) for our previous two motorhomes and did not receive water in either one - they were dry. I’d say it was a “return”.

A phone call to the manufacturer (FloJet) should provide a definitive answer. I'm guessing that it is a return, however.

When you buy based on the lowest price, and from a vendor with a questionable reputation, you get what you get!
