Newbee 2 Build

I have been remiss in posting this as the pictures or on my iPhone. Just some background. We have posted the adventures of Newbee (our VTDP 3725) on the forum for the last few years. This year the DW feel in love with the 4369. We looked at the Dutch star, but could not muster the cash. So we opted for a VTDP 4369 and ordered one. We started build on 20 Sept and traveled to Newmar to watch. I know some folks like to see the build pictures of others. I know we appreciate them. So the spirit of giving back here are our first day build pics:

On the second photo you can see the picture of us attached. I think this may have been a morning picture. I don’t get date taken when adding to the forum so will have to check before posting any more.

Congrats Mark & Louene!

When do you get your coach? Are you doing Factory delivery?

So here we are on the morning tour on 24 Sept. yes we stayed over the weekend to see the build. I do apologize for the lack of continuity in my descriptions. We’ve all been spoiled by Dutch Star Dan’s excellent documentation of his build. Posting this on my iphone, and my lack of organization makes for a less organized presentation. But if your like me any pics from the factory help “the wait” for a coach. So here you go:

So for those of you getting recliners with the large couch window optioned. This is what it looks like above.

And for those of you that optioned the kitchen window, here is what it looks like.

Ok, by afternoon on day 3 of your build you coach starts to look like a motorhome:

Here is the DW and another view of our picture in the window. Most everyone who worked on our coach knew her we were when we went on the tours. If you want to know one of the “differences” this is one. By the way this same picture is sent to corporate so they can put a face on who is buying their coach.

Ok why this last photo? It’s our radiator. Seems to be stained. Maybe just production dust, maybe not. Sent picture to our FPU team and they will check out. Another plus for doing factory pick up (FPU)

We almost did not stay for day four. Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes on our route home changed our mind. So here is our coach just before it left for paint:

Thanks NealC. You may not remember, but we were parked next to you when we both did factory delivery at the same time. You’ve blossomed into quite the old timer over the last few years [emoji6]. Thanks for all the forum posts.
