Could you tell us what model your looking at,
and list the numbers,
GVWR, 22,000
GCWR 26,000
approxUVW 18,176
approx.NCC 3,824
The HP, gear ratio & fuel capacity numbers make no sense, without spaces or commas.
What were last years numbers?
Looks like from these numbers this unit has good Cargo Capacity.
But very little left to handle a toad; only 4,000 lbs.

Sorry about that. Cut and paste did not work well.
We really liked this model because of the king bed.
Baystar 3124
2014. 2015
Gvwr. 20,500. 22,000
Gcwr. 26,000. 26,000
App uvw. 17,600. 18,176
App ncc. 2,900. 3,824
Thanks for any information you can provide. I have reviewed some other articles but thought I would look for an English explanation (ggg)

There has been an upgrade in the chassis carrying capacity. GVW
Buy installing heavier, suspension components. The 1,500 LBS difference.
The heavier components, and other standard equipment, increase the UVW. by 576 lbs.
The net gain is an increase in the approx. NCC, of 924 lbs.
BUT ; because of driveline ( most likely transmission ) limitations the GCWR remains the same at 26,000lbs.
That means you can carry more IN the coach, but tow less behind.
5,500 lbs last year , vs, 4,000 lbs for 2015. Borderline towing capacity for anything but the smallest of toads.
You may be able to tow a larger toad, you need to know the hitch rating, but that would mean carrying less in the coach to keep below the GCWR.

Thanks for the info. So, with the heavier suspension - should it ride differently?

With less than 10% increase in weight capacity any improvement in ride, ( sway ) or increase in harshness, would be negligible.

If your tires are over inflated you will experience a hard ride.
The coach needs to be weight after you have loaded with your stuff, full fuel, water you may carry, full LP tank, on scales or at each wheel than use it inflaction tables for your tires found in QT's 1 & 2.
