Just announced here at the Newmar meeting this morning! Looks to be a slow roll out. First unit is here in Florida. Thought are to have them work & follow the "snow bird trail"!
This could be a great addition for fulltimers. My opinion is that they will be regional, but who knows what the future holds. Even the Newmar folks are not sure how far it will go!
A great meeting!

Perhaps Newmar is expecting future problems since Winnebago owns them now.

I hope they bring them to So Cal. In Orange County there are few repair shops, none Newmar. It's a 2+ hour drive to dealers, and if you did not buy from them, forget repairs. I would absolutely use the Newmar techs.

This is starting off correctly. Newserv, Newmar tech, customer contacts Newmar to obtains service, customer is billed by Newmar.

Winnebago is to acquire Newmar Corp first quarter 2020. It was announced in September.

Hi foundwaldo,
Your post does not address the question. V3600 posted "expecting future problems". I do not understand what future problems would cause Newserv to be deployed. I would like V3600 to explain.
This has nothing to do with the Winnebago acquisition.

Hi - We are fulltimers and this is a great idea. There are virtually no dealerships I trust and many that will not service us as we didn't buy there. And Nappanee is not a great trip in the winter when you are already in better weather. This sounds like a great move to me.

Let’s choose to believe it’s Winnebago letting Newmar retain its top tier market position.

I think it was a somewhat tongue in cheek suggestion that quality will decline with the change in management. Obviously it could go either way. Or remain unchanged.
