Newmar Driver Side Marker Light Replacement?

2019 Newmar Mountain Aire 4515

Seeking guidance and advice on how to replace driver side rear marker light (see photo attached) as well as front topside marker light.

Have replacement marker lights from Newmar but was surprised that both marker lights were sent complete with new leg wires, thought they were snap in or plug in replacements.

See below/attached picture and seeking advice on how to remove old lights and how to install new ones. Do you solder in the new lights and protect with silicon, or do you recommend using wire nuts that are waterproof?

Didn't want to damage the surrounding paint or finish during the removal and install.

Advice and insight greatly appreciated.

Remove the silver trim ring to access to the screw. Remove the old light and replace with the new one. Use heat shrink butt connectors or butt connectors with tape.

Mine fell off on the road. replacement simple like Bobby said. Make sure to use silicon caulk on the top and sides but not the bottom. This will help hold it in place and allow any water to drain from below.

Task completion and works well.

During removal of old marker light discovered that the yellow wire had corroded and broke at connector.

Installed new light with waterproof butt connectors, which worked great.

Only challenge was the self tapping screws used by Newmar were not optimal. Had to strengthen screw holes and silicon as advised to add water penetration as well as help secure light to coach. Should work fine.

GuysÖ.thanks for your advice and help!
