Smile Newmar Dutch Aire

We are looking to purchase a NEWMAR DUTCH AIRE. We are new to this process. I have been researching every day and have my heart set on a Dutch Aire. We would love to buy from an owner rather than a dealer because price is really important to us. Does anyone have any good advice on how to find one? Thank you so much for your help!

Are you looking for a Dutch Star, Mountain Aire, or King Aire? I'm not sure what the Dutch Aire model is.

Actually, in 2009 and 2010 Newmar mad a 43ft and 45 ft Dutch Aire. It sat between the Dutch Star and Mountain Aire. The only reason I know this is because there was a discussion about his topic on this board:-)

There was an active member of the Newmar Group (Adam Hunter) from Paris, Ontario, who bought a 2009 Dutch Aire 4330 (only one made of this floorplan) in 2015 and sold it earlier this year.

You can search the group to find his comments, and the product brochure is available from Newmar's archives featuring this specific unit as one of the models shown on the cover and in various photos.

Hi Shelly25,
Dutch Aire's are as hard to find as AllStar coaches. Can you let us know why the Dutch Air has caught your eye.

Each year there are price increases for all models.

One year Newmar felt their flagship Dutch Star was getting too expensive and sales were suffering.

They replaced the Dutch Star with the Dutch Aire and removed or downgraded a lot of features, accessories, trim, etc. to reduce the price of the Dutch Star.

It didn't go over very well with Dutch Star owners and potential Dutch Star buyers, so the Dutch Aire went out of production.

Without knowing your location it's hard to say if this may be of value to you or not.

Suggestion: Include your location in your profile, and your coach info when you get one. It is very helpful in assuring replies have a higher degree of relevance.

While our at Midtown RV (Penticton, BC) getting some coach service done about 3 weeks ago, a Dutch Aire was parked behind us, being unloaded for the prior owners to transfer all their stuff into a newer Dutch Star they had just purchased. They said they loved their Dutch Aire and it had performed well for them but the wife wanted a different floorplan. I don't know if Midtown still has it or not. Midtown RV has been great to work with and I take our MADP 250 miles to their location for service. If you contact them, don't let their pricing scare you off, they came down a huge amount when we bought there three years ago, matching what I could have bought the same coach for from a private seller.

Shelly25. We own a 2010 Dutch Aire. Love it. They were made in 2009 and 2010 only. Available in 40' and 43' models only. No 45' as stated earlier. They had a lot of features of MA in the 2011 - and $75k less. DA had Spartan chassis and pre-def emissions. We have the 4317 model and live full time in it. The 2010 had a few upgrades interior over the 2009. Let me know if you have questions.
