Newmar Dutch Star 2017 FWS lock?

We are preparing for a longer trip next week so today we took our 2017 Dutch Star 4018 to fill the fuel. When we arrived at the fuel station, the FWS was out about an inch. Is there a lock on the FWS that we have missed? We started the generator and put the FWS in and when we got home it was out again by 1/2 inch this time. Any suggestions?

I wonder if having such a huge box on a flexing frame if some amount of twisting is inevitable? I'd like to hear from others who have had their coaches for some time if the alignment varies depending on the surface the coach is resting on? Then there's the sliding in and out, should we expect the slides to remain perfect?

Maybe you need to re-sink the motors.

No motors on his 2017 FWS. They are driven by the HWH hydraulics. I suggest a call to customer service to see if there is a simple answer, first.

We had a similar problem with our FWS, except it was only one side that would not close all the way. We took it back to the Dealer who realigned the slide. That was about 6 months ago, so far the FWS is holding the alignment.
