On mine they were.
The guy that I answered said his were 3/8. He ripped his bosses completely off.

I posted this as a FIX. I would love to see anyone do this fix and then have a failure of the studs coming loose or breaking the aluminum bosses.........Won't happen.

I did this on my 2017 DSDP 4326 and my son's 2016 DSDP 4313. Both were factory pickups.

If you have any questions, PM me your phone number.

New slide-out drive issue.

If your motor continues to run for a few seconds after the slide-out stops, you may want to check this.
I am at the factory having my furniture replaced and I asked the tech. to check my bedroom slide motor (the one behind the tag wheel) as it continued running after the slide stopped. When he tried to extend the slide, the motor ran but the slide did not move. His diagnosis was that the trantorque just needed tightening. Wrong!
In the picture you can see that the actual shaft from the motor (not shown) to the cog has shattered! The shaft had obviously been twisting and breaking in pieces until the final piece broke. Luckily for me this happened on the floor of the service center.
Newmar replaced the whole assembly with new motor, shaft and cogwheel at their expense

Wow, that looks to me like there was a corrosion issue over time that cause the failure. Very interesting.

The replacement shaft is supposed to be better quality steel, but the Tech. did admit it is not a good design to have it exposed to the elements. At least I now know to keep an eye on it.
