Newmar Flexsteel seats swivel Class A

Ok, I know this can't be that hard...but I can't seem to figure out how Captain chairs in my Newmar Class A motorhome swivels to face cabin. Im starting on passenger seat first and nothing is working. Do i need key turned to accessory? Yup I have blonde hair! Lol! 😜🤔

Should be a black tab by the remotes to move seats foward, back up and down. Pull out on this tab and manually turn seat. I believe it's on the left side. No electrical power needed.

Lora...for blondes, you need to know that the front seats are the ones by the windshield......just kidding.

You don't say what year coach you have. On my 2014 and 2019 Flexsteel seats, the lever is at the front of the seat. Slide your finger under the lever and pull it out while spinning the seat. Here is a photo.

Agree w all above. If all else fails lift the skirt and look underneath. Follow the cable attached to that release lever. It should go to a lever on the seat base / swivel with a spring that keeps it in the locked position.
Sometimes the cable stretches and needs adjusting and there is a plastic fitting on the end of the outer cable jacket thats threaded and adjusts the amount of travel the inner cable exerts on the release lever.
Best to just manually release the locking lever and swivel the seat.
If you are trying to swivel the seat while releasing it can make the release more difficult. Try wiggling the seat rotation while attempting release.
If everything is a little stiff a little lube sprayed on the release lever pivot point helps things work easier. Proper adjustment of cable and lube mentioned above make the seat rotation work easier.
Just replaced both capt chairs yesterday after recovering and went through above to get everything working smoothly. If you raise the seat to near top of its travel it makes things a little easier to see.

There are lots fo different "Newmar Class A" motorhomes. Not all use the same seats. Might be helpful if we knew what model and year you're asking about.

My 2019 Canyon Star seats are nothing like Dutch Star Don's 2019 Dutch Star seats but they're both Newmar class A motorhomes. Probably both FlexSteel seats too.
