Newmar Hoots???
Okay, forgive me for being naive. What is Newmar Hoots? I am new to RVing but find this interesting because my last name is Hoots. Thanks in advance.

Hey, Choots! Welcome!
Check out the 'Hoots' Thread if you haven't already done so -- start right at the beginning.
We have all had a lot of fun posting messages about our ideas for our own coaches as we've ordered and bought them -- modifications, options to consider when ordering, dealing with the factory when placing our orders, custom changes in layouts, factory delivery and PDI, etc., etc.
It's fair to say, I think, that we have all learned by our great exchange of ideas.
So ... we decided to get a gathering together of whomever wanted to join in to meet each other and spend a few days at a nice conveniently located place with good campground facilities to share fellowship. We also wanted to see as many coaches as possible of the people who have been active -- or just interested -- in our exchanges. Kind of putting the rubber to the road so to speak.
The common thread is that we're all Newmar owners and we all have participated in exchanging ideas over the past several months.
We all thought that doing this would be -- yes -- a Hoot!
So we're 'Newmar Hoots Looking for a Roost'!
Thanks for asking and, again, welcome to our 'Hoots' Thread! What an honor to have a real Hoot in betwixt and between our Roost Hoots!
Hope this explanation makes sense.
Cheers --
Deek

Meanwhile, on this particular thread, I note that I have not yet offered a proper Welcome to choots, the OP, and, I might add, the only hoots among us with documentary validation of same!
So.... Welcome to iRV2, Mr C Hoots!

Yeah, this is a heck of a thing we started!
There are now no less than three Hoots threads to be monitored each day!!!!
If the mothership was really smart, they would hire all of us to be their Customer R & D Advisors, don't you think? With all the engineering, design and generally fascinating ideas we have come up with, they could afford to have us on staff.
And 007 will be Hoot Emeritus!!
