We are planning to go to Hoots, then NKK international in Syracuse (9/30-10/5). Then some lobster & fall colors in New England, we hope :-)

That sounds good to us. We have been wanting to go up there where hopefully it will be cooler than the Gulf Coast Alabama area.

I believe the only way on this board is to publish it to YouTube and post a link.

There’s one of the videos posted on the IRV2 Newmar Hoots group on FB. I think Kathy A posted it - maybe from Marc L’s drone :-)

I had not heard of that FB group so just requested to join it. Noticed it does not have all that many members yet so the word must not of gotten out.

And it was GOOD!
Might need a case next year. It's cold in MI.
Great to meet you and stay in touch.
Can I have fries with the drink?

I want to thank all the Hoots for letting us tag along. We totally enjoyed our time there and we look forward to getting our new coach and becoming "official" Hoots.

We had a problem here on the way home from Hoots Rally with our new MA.
After staying overnight in Vicksburg ms we left this morning around 8:30
About an hour later as we approached Jackson ms the engine warning light came on and a few seconds later the Stop Engine Red light came on
Pulled off interstate and engine did what it’s programmed to Shut Off
Now we are stuck in the middle of a 2 lane (each way) Frontage Road.
Called Freightliner there was a Freightliner service center 3 miles away , lucky.
Unlucky as they do not have a mobile work unit.
So a Tow truck was called.
While we waited for tow which took 3 hrs to get to us I look at the engine compartment and it was easy to see what happened.
There are 2 serpentine belts.
One had come off and was just laying in engine compartment
I said ok I can put it back on tighten it up and problem solved.
Only when I went to wrap it around engine pulley did I discover pulley had come loose sheared off one bolt and destroyed the lug holes in the pulley.
So we waited.
Tow truck gets there has wrong lift for front of rig.
I call Freightliner and asked how fast the engine would heat up.
We agreed to start engine and slowly crawl to Freightliner service center.
It worked no problem.
So we left it there, drove toad home 6 hrs and will have to go back next week and get coach
Freightliner was great with roadside help but this problem should never have happened
What happened with Quality inspection of engine.
I will be taking this up chain of command with Freightliner
Anyway home safe , coach will be repaired and we’ll be back on the road.
See ya soon

Thanks to everyone for a great week. Y’all are a great group of folks. We appreciate all the work the planning committee and worker bees put in to this. Thanks to the folks at Grapevines Vinyards campground as well. I was blown a way by all the presenters. Vinny I even had fun on the train.
I was one of the twenty or so who had the Centramatics installed. (I have no clue how many hoots purchased them.) Just some quick feedback. Maybe a little bit smoother but I really didn’t have much of a problem in the first place. So the jury is still out.

Is that a Cummings pulley? Did the bolts come out or shear off?

Do you know what part numbers where installed? I would like to verify with the parts I purchased.
