Question Newmar KK- JUST MOTORHOMES?

As a former member I would like to know if fifth wheels are still included? During our membership years most units were fifth wheels with a few motor homes.

JMHO. The only requirement should be the Newmar , nameplate.
But I guess , I shouldn't talk , cause I haven't looked into joining yet.

Lots of Newmar 5ths at the NKK rally in Escanabla, MI a couple weeks ago. There was even a Newmar TT!

We had a great time at the NKK rally and next years is somewhere in West Virginia. We would be glad to attend that if we weren't planning to be on the west coast.

Funny you should mention that. LOL

We are currently at Bradd & Hall in Elkhart, IN for a flooring job estimate but we also stopped here a few weeks ago on the way to the NKK rally to pick up a new chair and get rid of a jackknife sofa. While we were here we met Dave & Joanne Killey who are the NKK Region 9 Directors that covers BC.

If you decide to drop them an email, tell them the folks with the 2 German Shepherds say, "HELLO".

I will echo sky boss. I had never seen so many NEWMAR 5th wheels & yes I saw the TT too.

Several years ago when I toured the factory, I watched the last 5th wheel as it came off the line.

But if it has the NEWMAR brand name it is more than welcome.

In a conversation with a 5th wheel owner who was also at Escanaba, he was disappointed that some session didn't cover the 5th wheel owner. While the bulk of units there were motorhomes (gas and diesel), there were several 5th wheel owners there and I would think the NKK leadership would like to consider the particular needs and/or questions of those owners in at least one session.

Goodness, I'd like to see a session on the history of Newmar (other than reading the website) for those of us that are new to the culture. For instance, one of the factory execs could make a few comments, someone show some slide ware with older photos, and even a Q&A session would surely be of interest. As I've learned, never assume everyone is at the same level of knowledge with regard to Newmar and it's great history.

I was at the NKK International and have a 5th wheel. Newmar started with bumper pull, Class C, and Class A, and 5th wheels. Newmar made a quality 5th wheel product. They still support the 5th wheel with parts and service. Mine is 14 years old and going strong. New refrigerator and water heater.
