Newmar Mobile Tech

On one of the Facebook Newmar pages, a gentleman stated that after calling Newmar about a slide problem in Florida, he was told Newmar Mobile techs will not work on slides. I find this hard to believe, and if true, what's the point of a Mobile Tech, if he cant fix slides?

Living in Florida I've called three times for the Newmar Mobile Tech. Once for a slide seal, once for a HWH jack hose replacement and once for basic service for the coach. All three times I was told that he couldn't do it. For the basic service he had no place to put used Oil, etc. For the slide seal it would take too long and for the HWH hose I don't remember the reason why. So unless it's a small little job that just about anyone could do forget it. I did the slide seal myself as well as replacing the front left HWH jack hose.

I would love to purchase a new King Aire; however, I have seen numerous complaints such as yours. Have they resolved the slide issues? What’s up with that anyway?

Why does Newmarket continue to have these slide problems. I called NIRV center and talked to a sales person who told me that a few years back there was a recall, but really no slide issues. I told her the forums were full of complaints. Now, I feel as though I can’t trust Angie and them. I didn’t talk toAngie. I love her.

SO, just because some "sales person" didn't know about issues with slides, you can't trust NIRVC or Angie?

You really shouldn't expect so much from a "sales person"; its been proven over and over that many of them don't have a clue about what they are selling.

Sales people should know the product. I was only kidding about Angie.

Thanks,
Still researching the DPs. Donna
