Newmar New aire

Hello All,

Would somebody be able to give me the model number, Alcoa or similar for the steer wheel on a Newmar NewAire that uses a 305x70x 22.5 tire? I am looking to source one for a new trailer to match but my coach is in storage out of state and I cannot get the number.

Thanks

Do you need to run that size (305) tire? The common wheels are either Alcoa or Accuride. The most common RV size is the 8.25" wide. 295/80-22.5 is the largest, widest tire that should go on it. The 305 needs a 9.25-inch-wide wheel. You need to match the finish.

Understand the opinion however the tires that are on the RV are 305 x 70 x 22.5 and I am looking to match, at least in first thought.

That is an odd sized tire. Was that the original size? Does the motorhome have the correct 9.5-inch rims. Will trailer take the same bolt pattern?

Yes that is the tire as fitted, strange as it may be, it was supplied by NIRVC

Online specs show the 305/75 22.5 as the stock tire size on a 9” wheel.

Seems to differ, I have the actual tire that came off it as supplied by NIRVC, it is 305x70x22.5. Unfortunately the shop sent it to me without the rim so I am trying to find the actual part number of the rim, whether it be Alcoa or similar it will be the same design to see if it could be used for the new trailer.
