Just FYI, Transwest has one that goes over the exterior storage bays as well (which Newmar's video does not.)
To say the tag axle takes away from basement storage is an understatement...

The transwest video states the air bags were dumped and then he proceeds to open all the slides. I thought newmar required the airbags full at travel mode to operate the slides! Is that no longer the case?

I don't understand the need for a 38ft MA.

Would be interesting to see how many units they sell this year. If we had not just bought our 4118 MADP, I might be interested in one. I think there will be a market for it.

They do, but being perfectly level on the floor of a hotel ballroom, I think he’ll be ok.

I was expecting a New Aire sized coach but was pleasantly surprised by the video. Especially when he said it was the fastest coach Newmar builds!

I think there will be a market for it as well. Years ago Country Coach built (memory is foggy) quite a few 32'-36' luxo coach's (Magna's I think) powered nicely by a Cat C10. They sold quite well.

Wish it had three AC's. That's a lot of interior room for just two.

shepardmike - Good question ... I actually wondered that right after the dealer's meeting. Maybe it could be done as a special?
"Wonder if they could still add one for "shore power only" like they are doing on the 2024 40' Dutch Stars?
• A 3rd air conditioning unit is now standard on 40' Dutch Star models for the 2024 model year. These 40' models will still provide an 8.0 kW generator, so the 3rd air conditioning unit will only operate when the coach is plugged in to 50 amp electrical service."

Curious, what specifics you prefer the 38 over the 41, besides the few feet?
Agree the 38 does have its utility, easier to fit in tighter places or if you tow a long trailer, the few feet makes a difference. With 3 or 4 slides the living space is plenty good. The only draw back I saw was the very limited space in the compartments below.

Agree. Storage looks limited at best. 38ft with side radiator, tag axel and instead of putting the outdoor TV in the slide, they used the pegboard space. Then they listed the MSRP 850K !

We just ordered one fully loaded and are trading in a 2022 New Aire.
Got a great deal at Midway RV out of Grand Rapids MI.
