The building is enclosed, but the big industrial doors are often open to bring coaches, supplies, and equipment in or out.

That said, we were inside the paint shop last year. IIRC they had huge plastic or vinyl industrial sized curtains hanging within the building to minimize breezes, contaminants, and overspray...

Our DSDP had several areas painted over night (last night) , and it is perfect and smooth

I'm finding this really hard to believe.
Are you telling me Newmar paints their coaches with doors open to the outside so dust and dirt can get in the paint from wind swirling around?

This just can't be correct. When I toured the Tiffin factory, they had enclosed rooms/booths the motorhomes went into and it was a sterile environment.

Please tell me this isn't so.

Ok, Stripe was typing at the same time as me. This makes me feel better.

We''ll I guess I'm a lucky one as I just today finished hand polishing my '17 Essex for the 1st time, covering every sq. in. of the exterior painted surfaces by hand and found the finish to be 99.9% flawless.

There are a few, basically unnoticeable "orange peels" in a very few and isolated spots mostly near the roof line but again the overall finish quality is quite impressive.
