2018 New Aire 3343

Special-I had the the side windows and the (lambricans(sp)) removed from the rear bedroom slide, gave me more room in the queen bed and made the room seem bigger.

I replaced the sofa with recliners (special at the time)

Special I should have done was to replace micro with the GE Advantum I believe it also serves as a toaster oven. (not verified yet)

I haven’t gotten a break out of that yet. Perhaps someone else can comment.

- Added 12x60 window below the micro and cabinets;
above the stovetop and sink.
Comment: This really gives an open feeling in the
kitchen & living area.

- Replaced the standard convection oven/microwave
with GE Advantium.
Comment: DW hated the Whirlpool in the old coach;
loves the Advantium.

- Added dual-feed ground satellite inputs and
associated A/B switches

- Added several 12 VDC, USB and 120VAC outlets in
dash and other areas.
Commment: 12 VDC outlets added in dash area for
TPMS, standalone GPS, cell phone/laptop charger,
dash cam, etc. You never have enough.

- Deleted the decorative wall clock on the dinette wall.
Comment: this seems to be a common "special;"
maybe Newmar should make ADDING it an option
instead.

Some really great ideas like an awning over the drivers window, deeper cabinets and power to dump from inside.

I see several requests to replace the Whirlpool microwave with GE Advantium. Please enlighten me. What is the benefit?

My dealer, Tom Lindstrom said it “used to be” a big deal when Newmar put the previous model microwave in. But since the new ones, the GE doesn’t have any advantage.

Depends on what you consider an "advantage." The DW says the Advantium is hands-down easier to use that the Whirlpool. I'll take her word for it.
