Newmar price increase?
Our salesman called last Thursday (5/26) to tell us that our completed, but not quite bought (scheduled to ship from Nappanee this week), Newmar was subject to one more price increase (3%). Has anyone else heard this? DW is highly suspicious and needs confirmation that it's real and not the dealership squeezing more money from us.

The dealers and manufacturers better realize that the glory days are over. With the current economic conditions and price of gas I bet by the end of the year they will be discounting coaches! Every part in your coach was purchased a long time ago. To raise a price now is Bull.

Last November, placed deposit on a KSPD. My dealer honored the purchase price during three price increases. Picked it up in Feb. Dealer said NEWMAR did not charge them for price increases on a coach under contract. They considered it “sold to customer” and those words appeared on the deposit receipt.
Maybe after Winnebago bought Newmar things changed.

That’s east to verify, just make sure you get the MSRP sticker with the coach and review the price.
You should have negotiated a percentage off MSRP with the dealership when you ordered.
That percentage off shouldn’t change, just applied to the new MSRP.
