Newmar product line?

Can someone explain the difference between the King Aire, Essex and London Aire? They all have the same chassis and drive line. So way the price differential ?

The chassis are not the same. The King Aire exclusively is built on the Spartan K3GT Chassis. Spartan Chassis

Some of the standard Essex feautures are optional on the London Aire for example the standard London Aire chassis is on a Freightliner chassis and the Spartan chassis is extra as a $ 7.980 upcharge among others.

All 3 are excellent coaches IMHO but there is a big difference between 590,434 and 716,775 and 886,346. Which is the best value for you depends on your wallet. The easiest way IMHO to view the diff is in a spreadsheet of what you want and are willing to pay for.

I agree with John, all excellent coaches. We went through this before ordering our new Essex. The KA has the upgraded Spartan Chassis and many interior upgrades, like the furniture, the fixtures, the cabinets. Also the exterior cameras, Essex has three and KA I believe have 5. Probably the biggest difference that my be important to some people is the fact that it is the top of the line.

For us, we could not see the $150k or so difference, so we got the Essex and through "specials" or adds, we included some of the KA features, like backsplash, shower tile, faucets, cabinet handles in our upgrades. We also chose features from the Mountain Air, like the sconces, and the sinks from the London Air. So you can really customize much to your liking.

We are very pleased with our new Essex, but we knew what we were getting into, so we had our 2006 Essex for 9 years.

Like John said, do a spread sheet and compare then chose what is important to you.
