I don't know how stiff the chassis in relation to current one, but have been told the new one will flex more. Now to me, extending slides first and then leveling coach makes no sense, and others in those threads I mentioned above also don't completely agree. So I am going to do it Newmar's way first and see how the coach feels, and if it does not feel right, going to level, then extend. The school is in disarray about this.

for me, in moving from many other coaches to the newmar, the process of slides out and then level seemed really weird at first. but in practice, it makes sense....at ride height, deploying the slides will cause no stress on them.....the air is adjusted to the stance of the coach on whatever ground it is on....so bring the slides out, then dump and level....any stresses on the frame won't be transferred to the slide mechanisms while they are in motion...and that is the key....
then air up, and bring the slides is....stresses again gone......
it's different, but i think it makes total sense, when you stop and think about it....
everything for the slides is fitted in the factory at ride height...so that is neutral position....moving the slide mechanisms at neutral position is the best position......
and this is only for the FWS...the other slides, you can move from any position...before the FWS came to be, this was not an issue...it's that massive slide that makes the procedure need to change.....
